Sailfish Fishing Charter

Sailfish may just be the fastest fish in the Ocean. They can be caught year round here in the Florida Keys, with peak months for smaller fish mixed with large fish beginning as the weather cools in November through December. These fish are mostly caught when they are chasing ballyhoo along the reefs edge. This season culminates with tailing season as fish are caught sight fishing as they jump and ride the waves to the west for their annual migration. When these special weather conditions are not present, we will use standard live baiting and kite fishing techniques that will produce some very nice catches of these fantastic fighters.

Wahoo Fishing Charter

Wahoo is one of the fastest fish in the Ocean and are present year round here in the Florida Keys. Starting in December and going through February, they are usually most prevalent along the outer reef in 120 to 180 feet of water. As spring arrives we find these fish further offshore around debris floating further off shore. Thank God that this pattern lasts well into summer time. I think Wahoo got their name because its the first word that comes to mind as the line screams from the reel… Wahooooooooo!!

Blackfin Tuna Fishing Charter

Blackfin Tuna are Tasty fighters that offer consistent action here in the Florida Keys. In the winter time, some larger fish visit the reef line. These Blackfin Tuna can be caught while fishing for other species as a bye catch or specifically targeted by venturing into the Marathon hump, where both large fish and number can be had. As usual, Skipjack Tuna and the occasional yellowfin Tuna are also usually caught on the same trips.

Marlin Fishing Charter

Marlin are present in our waters year round in the Florida Keys. They are not as prevalent here as they are other parts of the world, but they can be caught here. The real trick is to be ready for them! Marlin tend to generally follow schools of Tuna and Mahi. Again, the trick is to be ready at all times. We are always prepared and will generally have at least one bait in our pattern that would appeal to a Marlin. When at the hump, a Marlin hot spot, we will make at least one pass that is Marlin specific, tempting them to take a BITE!

Mahi Mahi Fishing Charter

Mahi Mahi, sometimes also called Dolphin, are the fastest growing fish living in the Ocean. They are also some of the shortest lived too. Mahi Mahi can be caught year round off of Marathon, here in the Florida Keys, with the peak season for both big fish and numbers. Our big fish are caught mostly from April to June with large numbers of smaller fish generally showing up in the middle of May and also lingering in to the summer. Our fall runs for Mahi Mahi usually begin in October as the temperatures begin to cool, and will last into December.

Offshore Fishing Charter

Come join us as we target Pelagics, the big fish that live in the deeper waters of Pelagic zone of the Ocean. Typically these fish live neither close to the Ocean floor nor land and live in a vast area. Fishing for them is a true hunt for fish, but fortunately for us we have the warm Ocean current on our side. The Gulf Stream current and the Bahamian Bank concentrate these fish as they pass by our islands in the Florida Keys. This current and several underwater Mountains, also known as humps, create an area we call the up and downs and help us find these fish daily. All Pelagics can be caught year round out of Marathon, however there are peak seasons for each.
